The publication ethics policy of OSTINATO Journal refers to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as the standard for best practices.

Duties of Editors: |

1. Publication Decisions: |

Editors hold full responsibility for deciding which submitted articles will be published, based on the results of the peer-review process. |

2. Fair Evaluation: |
|
|
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit, without discrimination regarding the authors’ identity, background, or affiliations. |

|
3. Confidentiality |
|
|
Manuscript-related information must only be accessible to relevant parties (authors, reviewers, and editors). |

|
|
|
|
4. Conflicts of Interest |
|
|
Editors must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for their own research or personal advantage. |

Duties of Reviewers: |
|
|
1. Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts. |
|
|
|
|
|
2. Maintain confidentiality of the manuscripts under review. |
|
|
|
|
|
3. Disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the editors. |
|
|

Duties of Authors: |
|
|
1. Originality and Authorship |
|
|
Manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism or duplicate publication. |

2. Reporting Standards |
|
|
Research data must be presented accurately, clearly, and in a verifiable manner. |
|
|
|
|
|
3. Multiple Submissions |
|
|
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously. |

4. Acknowledgment of Sources |
|
|
Proper acknowledgment of all sources, citations, and references must be provided. |

5. Authorship Criteria |
|
|
Only those who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. |

6. Post-Publication Corrections |
|
|
If an author discovers a significant error in their published work, they are obligated to promptly notify the editor to request a correction or retraction. |
